How complicated is your estate? If you live a simple life (not running around with millions of dollars and several estates), then what is wrong with the online will thing? It's a piece of paper saying I want X, Y, and Z done. Add in some of the healthcare documents (power of attorney, etc.) and you should be fine. I got all of the above online for $50. Have I completed them? No. But it is a relatively simple document. Additionally, do you not know anyone in the legal field that could review the online documents for you? Seriously. Stop and think. $1,500 versus $50. I'd try the $50 first. HOLY COW… seriously? $1,500 is ABSURD.
