Cant say i have noticed anything major bar a bit more each fill-up. Our grocery bills are about the same, we keep finding the same deals and using the same kinds/amounts of coupons as last year. A whole host of expenses have come into our budget this year with the new house, but we also sold one car as we didnt need it, and have some different services. We also picked up new life insurance and now have a mortgage and HOA rather than rental payments. Our newer, larger house actual costs us less to power than our old rental place - but this is 4x as large, its just properly insulated!

With a baby on the way, i can see next year also being a completely different line-up of bills compared to this. It makes it harder to compare year over year when things change this much. Our spending plan is still balanced, so i cant complain.
